I got my start like a lot of people, I first started shooting at a Boy Scout camp and after that, I got my first rifle, a Ruger 10/22. Since then, my interest and knowledge of firearms continue to expand. In 2012 I started shooting Trap, Skeet, and sporting clays on a competitive team and participated with the team for three years. After this, I switched to other shooting disciplines such as 3-gun and USPSA, which started my interest in taking defensive shooting classes (listed below). Those classes prepared me for the RangeMasters Instructor Development class, which I took in late June 2019. I worked at a gun store for over three years, where I encountered a gap in knowledge and training between people who own guns and the people who are serious about owning guns. My goal is to try to fill that gap. In doing so, I became a firearms instructor and planned on using this channel to help.
